Project: “Identification and characterization of differentially expressed host proteins
for both S 27 and DRDE-06 strains of Chikungunya virus in mouse model : Implications in understanding its epidemic potential”
Essential qualifications :Candidates must hold a post graduate degree with first class in biological sciences or allied subjects and at least two years of research experience. The Project involves Cell culture, viral infection, Cellular cytotoxicity assay, Flow Cytometric Analysis, Western Blot and viral quantitative methods like plaque assay, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR etc. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Virus infection in cell culture or mouse model as well as familiarity with routinely used Virus titrating methodology. Candidates with publicat ion in this area will be preferred.
