Job Description
Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) invites application for the position Research Associate
Project: “Application of Business Analytics in Agribusiness”.
Qualification and Experience:
(i) Post-graduation or Ph.D. in Data Science, Management, Economics or Social Science
(ii) Experience in research/academic/report writing
(iii) Proficiency in English
Remuneration and Tenure: The appointment will be made on a contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration of Rs.30,000/- per month based on qualification and experience. The remuneration can be negotiated further. This is a contractual position for six months. The general terms and conditions of employment at IRMA will be applicable.
Job Profile: The responsibilities of the Research Associate will include the following
(i) Be stationed at Anand, Gujarat, and be a part of a team undertaking the study at IRMA
(ii) Survey and travel for data collection (mostly in Gujarat).
(iii) Clean data, analyze and present to the research team periodically
(iv) Write research proposals and reports and such other communications as needed from time to time
(v) Assist the team in other work related to the project
