Academic Associate rcruitment in Institute of Rural Management Anand for Information Technology and Systems Area
Required qualifications: Candidate should preferably have MBA (IT/Systems) / PGDM (IT/Systems), M.Tech or MSc. (Computer Science/IT) with first class or equivalent grade. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in managing Software Engineering project life cycle and in any programming language and database.
The candidates are expected to be fluent in written and spoken English.
Remuneration: Academic Associates will be given a consolidated remuneration in the range of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.30,000/- per month depending on qualification, experience, merit, performance in the interview / test.
Job responsibilities: Academic Associate (AA) will work closely with faculty members and assist them in undertaking the following activities: Preparation of course materials ,Assistance in evaluation process of courses, Facilitating group assignments of students, Assisting in research project.
Age: Preferably below 35 years.
Selection process: Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed at IRMA, Anand or through telephonic interview. For interview conducted at IRMA, 3 tier AC train fare will be reimbursed. The selected candidate should join immediately.

IRMA was established in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat, erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board to provide management education, training, research and consultancy support to co-operatives and rural development organisations in India. IRMA is founded with the belief, borne out by Dr.Kurien’s work in the dairy co-operatives which revolutionised the dairy industry in the country, that the key for effective rural development is professional management. Professionalising the management of rural organisations calls for matching the specific but unmet needs of the sector with the formal techniques and skills of management professionals. Linking the two are the ‘rural managers’ prepared by IRMA through its two-years diploma (PRM) in rural management.
