Job Description
Post Doctoral Fellowship position at the AstroSat Science Support Cell, IUCAA, Pune on contract basis.
Eligibility: 1. Ph.D. degree in astronomy/astrophysics or a related discipline. Candidate who has submitted the Ph.D. thesis is also eligible to apply. 2. Experience in astronomical data analysis, especially in the X-ray and optical/UV domain is needed. 3. Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, IDL and Python is preferred. 4. Good oral and written communication skills in English are necessary.
Fellowship: Rs. 45,000
