Job Description
Intern job opportunities in Tariff Authority for
Major Ports on contract basis
Qualification : (i) A Pass in the Intermediate examination of
the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India ; or (ii) A pass in the Intermediate examination of
the Institute of Cost Accountants of India ; or (iii) MBA (Finance) ; or (iv) Master's Degree in Statistics; or (v) Graduate in Commerce with minimum two
years experience in Ports and Logistics.
Desirable : (a) Two years' experience in costing/ finance
field. (b) Computer literacy with
ability to work in MS-Office like Word, Excel, etc.
Remuneration : Rs.22,500/- pm on initial appointment who are Inter CA/CMA and Rs.30,000/- pm who are CA/CMA, CS etc with 10% increase on every year.

The Tariff Authority for Major Ports (TAMP) was constituted in April 1997 to provide for an independent Authority to regulate all tariffs, both vessel related and cargo related, and rates for lease of properties in respect of Major Port Trusts and the private operators located therein. The Major Ports Trust Act, 1963 was amended by Port Laws (Amendment) Act 1997 to constitute the TAMP.
