Position Purpose

Intern will be placed at Spark Minda Technical Center located at Pune.
The intern will work towards design by analysis of the electromagnetic products involving designing complete product life cycle.
Intern shall conduct research towards improving overall performance of the product(s).
Documenting newly developed procedures and designing best practices.
This is a unique opportunity for the student who is in the final year of their Bachelor’s or master’s study in Mechanical Engineering (Specialization in Design/Solid Mechanics /Thermal/ Fluid Mechanics) interested in gaining valuable experience in product design and development of electro mechanical products.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks

Desired Qualifications
Education:

Working toward Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in either of Design/Solid Mechanics /Thermal/ Fluid Mechanics.
Student shall in the final year of the Bachelor’s or Master’s studies with sound academic records.
Student shall be pursuing above said course from reputed E-school / Institute / University with a strong academic credentials.

Core Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Expert knowledge of using ANSYS for structural, thermal and fluid related problems.
Expert knowledge of programming or scripting using Python or C++.
Student studied and have sound knowledge of following subjects
Solid mechanics
Mechanical vibration
Machine design
Metal fatigue
Fluid Mechanics and Dynamics
Fracture mechanics
Advanced finite element methods
Computational fluid dynamics
Motivated to work independently
Sound knowledge of report preparation using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent writing and communication skills

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply common sense and critical thinking to carry out instructions and make decisions within scope of work
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
Ability to follow policies and procedures of an organization
