About the Internship:
Local Government Department(Punjab) has initiated a scheme for engagement of interns in Urban Local Bodies in various fields with the aim and objective to allow young talent from reputed institutes to be associated with the Department.
Applications are invited for internship program 2017-18 in 16 AMRUT towns within the state of Punjab under schemes like Govt. of India Flagship schemes ie AMRUT,Swachh Bharat Mission,Smart City,Solid Waste Management,HRIDAY,Housing for All etc in disciplines mentioned below:

- Town Planning,Urban Transport,Engineering(Civil,Electrical,Public Health-Water supply,Roads,Sewerage and Environment),Fire Services,Municipal Finances,Human Resources.
Qualification: Diploma holders/Graduates/Post Graduates from recognized Universities/Institutes,within three years of passing their course would be eligible to apply.
