Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata is inviting applications for the recruitment of one (01) Project linked person purely on a temporary basis to work for the project titled "Multimodal Multiscale Omics Data Integration for Cancer Subtype Discovery" in the Machine Intelligence Unit of the Institute, Kolkata.

3. Qualifications: M.E M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Information Technology or M.Sc in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science; Good knowledge in Computer Programming (C/ C++/ Java); All through First Class.
4. Pay Consolidated Rs. 28000/- (Rupees twenty-eight thousand only) to Rs.35000/- (Rupees thirty-five thousand only) per month, depending on the qualification and experience.
5. Tenure of Appointment: The appointment will be till 31 March 2022 from the date of his/her joining the Institute which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidates.
Age Limit:
Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 September 2021, with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and ditferently abled candidates. Age relaxation may be given to outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
Selection of shortlisted candidates will be through written test and/or interview (online or in-person) with preventive measures not to spread COVID-19 global pandemic as directed by the Government of India.
