Job Description
Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata is inviting applications for the recruitment of one (01) Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work in the project titled “Scalable and Secure Computation in Distributed Networks” in the Cryptology and Security Research Unit of the Institute, Kolkata.
1. Qualification : Ph.D. (submitted or awarded) in Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Mathematics with a good academic record throughout; preference will be given to the candidate who has research experience in algorithms/ randomized algorithms/ distributed computing.
2. Pay : Ranging from `40000/- (Rupees forty thousand only) to `50000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) per month (Consolidated pay with no other allowances) depending on the qualification and experience of the selected candidate.
3. Tenure of appointment : Initially, till 31 March 2022 from the date of his/ her joining the institute which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds & performance of the candidate.
Age Limit:
Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 July 2021 with usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ differently abled and exceptional candidates.
