3. Title of The Project: Development of a non-invasive insulation diagnostic system for large power equipment employing cellulose impregnated with alternate dielectric liquid as its primary insulation taking into consideration the influence of trapped charge present in the system
4. Principal Investigator: Dr. ARIJIT BARAL
5. Tenure of Project: Till the end of the project (08th May 2022).
6. Job Description: The candidate is expected to perform experiments and mathematical analysis related to the flow-electrification process in different types of dielectric liquid and document research findings under the upervision of the Project Investigator.
7. Essential Qualification: B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline and Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in High Voltage Engineering Condition Monitoring Control & Protection of Electrical Apparatus/ Power Systems or equivalent with first class. OGPA 7.0 (in case first class is not mentioned) will be considered as first-class for Master's Degree. The candidate should be GATE qualified.
8. Desirable Qualification: Candidates with knowledge about trapped charge, flow-electrification, insulation diagnosis will be preferred
9. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/-+ HRA (if applicable) for candidates with a Master's degree. Rs. 35,000/. + HRA (if applicable) for candidates with Master's degree and relevant experience (as per the norms set by DST, SERB). Fellowship
