Job Description
Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate-I (One Post) in Technology Innovation in Exploration and Mining Foundation (TexMin), Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) sponsored project. The details of the project are as under:
1. Position: Project Associate-I
2. Number of Position (s): One (01)
3. Title of The Project: Development of Predictive Maintenance Solutions for Modern Dragline System
4. Tenure of Project: The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, which is sanctioned for a period of 06 Months
5. Job Description:
i. The project work includes a detailed study of maintenance and operational aspects of a Dragline machine.
ii. Development and application of industrial internet and computing algorithm (Industry 4.0) is emerging as a new way to increase productivity and utilization of capital-intensive mining assets.
iii. The current project is based on big data analytics for predicting the failures of Draglines in a surface coalmine using neural network/machine learning algorithms and develop a predictive maintenance solution for the same.Sanction No and Date: PSF-IH-1Y-011 dated 13.05.2021
6. Essential Qualification:
i. M. E./ M. Tech Degree in Mining Engineering/ Mining Machinery Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Mathematics and Computing/ Industrial Engineering OR
ii. MBA (Business Analytics) B. E./ B. Tech in Mining Engineering/Mining Machinery Engineering/ Mathematics and Computing/ Computer Science and Engineering) With a minimum of First Class or Above from a reputed institute.
iii. In case, the class is not specified in the degree then minimum 60% marks 0r 7.0 CGPA/OGPA will be considered as First Class.
7. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms and Codes, Exposure to Python Language, Ability to learn and perform data analytics, Knowledge of Matlab Software
8. Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month
9. IIT (ISM) Project No.: TexMin/SEED/2021-2022/08/ME
Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 35 years at the time of appointment (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female Candidate as per GoI rules)
