Title of The Project: On The Reductions Of Aerofoil Turbulence Noise Through Wavy Leading And Trailing Edge Serrations

Tenure of Project: 3 yrs

Job Description (in maximum of 100 words):
i. Design and fabrication of leading and trailing edge serrated airfoils. Detailed characterization of broadband noise radiated from leading and trailing edge serrated airfoils to identify the best serration parameters for highest noise reductions with respect to the baseline airfoil.
ii. Also, flow visualization to understand the mechanism of noise reductions as well as lift /drag measurements to determine the aerodynamic performance of leading and trailing edge serrated airfoils

Essential Qualification: M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Design or Thermal) / Aerospace Engineering with 2 years of research experience. Candidate must be GATE/NET qualified.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in aeracoustics, Aeroacoustic measurements, Post processing of the acoustic data using MATLAB, Knowledge in flow visualization technique.

Fellowship: 35000/- per month
