Job Description: IT FUNCTIONAL ANALYST, MDM
As an IT Functional Analyst, you will be part of an Agile project team utilizing the Agile / Scrum methodologies, working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders. You will work to design new systems and improve existing systems, create design documentation, software specifications, and testing/training scenarios and will evaluate processes for alignment opportunities. You will participate in new functionality estimation, analysis, design and testing and define application requirements by working closely with the MDM stakeholders and other members of the project teams.
As a project team member, you will support the entire project lifecycle from initial project definition to project implementation (including testing and training) through to project closure. You will also be an expert on current MDM processes and systems; identify, recommend, and drive process improvements; and serve as a consultant on these processes and systems for partners and customers.

Responsibilities And Tasks

• Create and maintain models and EBRs in SAP
• Create and maintain composites and composite values in SAP
• Configure the material master via SPRO for new things like a new Material Type
• Create new columns in the extension tables when an additional field needs to be set in SAP
• Create Charm transports in DE1 and promote to other SAP environments
• Serve as an internal consultant within SAP teams and partner organizations on SAP capabilities and operations execution best practices
• Partner with SAP ECC area leadership to understand capability needs and to improve the overall efficiency of the teams
• Ensure delivery of MDM solutions within our SAP ECC/APO toolset
• Deliver large scale, high-value projects by leveraging an established delivery methodology
• Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities and solution approaches
• Work within cross-functional teams (Operations areas, other SCRUM teams, MDM, PMO) to drive successful deployments
• Leverage metrics and performance data to understand opportunities for improvement
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum of 7 years' experience as an SAP analyst
• Minimum of 4 years' SAP ECC/APO Planning
• Worked on integration of MDG with other components of the SAP ERPs and Non-ERPs
• Worked on Master Data Domains like customer/ vendor/ financials/ materials
• Migration of existing master data from other applications to MDG hub
• Provide solutions for end-to-end Master Data Governance(MDG), data modeling, data cleansing
• Worked on SAP MDG/UI, ALE/IDOC, etc
• Worked on MDG ABAP, workflow, webdynpro, consolidation
• Have hands-on experience in solving production issues raised by business
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capability
• Self-motivated and outcome oriented
• Capability to build strong rapport with customer groups
• Experience in collaboratingwith team members to drive results
• Ability to facilitate and drive decisions and clarification
• Ability to work independently with short deadlines
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• Experience in the high-tech industry (preferred)
  

Education

• B.S./B.B.A. in Information Systems, Business, Management, MDM, Industrial Engineering or industry-related curriculum
• Graduate studies a plus
