Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer and individual contributor to join a growing, enthusiastic development team responsible for new technical innovations to fulfill our digital ambitions.
With a passion for building world-class digital products and a deep understanding of the software development processes, you will deliver key components to be used by our customer base.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and API’s. - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Contribute ideas for future improvements to the server platforms and the web and mobile client libraries/frameworks.
Skills required:
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Be familiar with SDK frameworks and providing documentation.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android and libraries for common tasks.
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Constructing user interfaces based on designer’s specifications.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git will be a plus

- Experience with implementing gcm, google Map API, CoreAudio, CoreVideo, AAC-ELD, ffmpeg, WebRTC or similar. As an Android Developer you'll be working on some of the most exciting project on the planet, attracting millions of visitors
