We are looking for a talented PHP Developer for our ecommerce start-up venture in Bangalore. He/she will be responsible of managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. We have an office set up in Dubai and we are looking for someone who can work independently and full time from Bangalore. Our office space in Bangalore is being set up and expected to go live by September.

PHP DEVELOPER

The PHP Developer is responsible for the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
  
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
  
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  
• Integration of data storage solutions

Professional Skills & Qualifications

• Primary Skillset : PHP, MySQL, Codeigniter
  
• Secondary Skillset: HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, Angularjs
• 2 to 3 years of proven software development experience in PHP
  
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming.
  
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
  
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
  
• Must be good in troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
  
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
