Automation Test Engineer – Trainee

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer  to join our growing team of talented, collaborative, and passionate Automation Testing Department. As a member of our team, you will automate test scripts using your excellent Java skills and play an integral role in the software development life cycle for all Tk20 software products. This position requires strong analytical and critical reasoning skills, exemplary command of Java, and exceptional communication skills. This full-time position will work from our Chandigarh, India office. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Automate test scripts for test cases provided by the manual Testing team using Selenium scripts and Java code 
  
• Execute and perform regression testing of automated test scripts prior to completing a handover of the .jar file to the manual Testing team  
  
• Resolve issues in the scripts/xpath that occur while the manual Testing team performs regression testing Perform performance and load testing using the Selenium scripts 
  
• Assist in other critical initiatives like making modifications to the Selenium framework, automation process, etc. 
  
• Provide suggestions and improvements as needed on existing architecture and framework used for automation 
  
• Collaborate with colleagues from Software Development teams and manual QA Testing team in our Austin, Texas and Chandigarh, India office locations.
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated excellence in Core Java skills and understanding of the  Selenium  framework Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 
  
• Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills 
  
• Possess a technical degree in computer applications or related area (M.CA, B. Tech, M. Tech).
