Job Summary

We are looking for a bright, energetic and hard working graduate to work in Faridabad office on the development of web software for large volume data management. The software is expected to use ASP.NET and other web technologies with a database backend to manage large quantity of track inspection data coming from rail vehicles in real time from around the world. It is expected that you will have very good reading, writing and speaking skills as well as extensive experience in the software development sector. Winforms development knowledge will be useful if the candidate has it.

We are an international company head-quartered in the UK specialising in automated camera-based railway track inspection systems. The company has operations in the UK, USA and Europe and is fast growing in the European and North American markets. Our operations include installation of hardware systems on trains and inspection vehicles for the purpose of capturing rail track images that are further processed by automated image analysis software to locate defects on track. Information about track defects is passed on to rail track operators who use this for focussed maintenance and repairs. We provide a complete package of hardware, software and data analysis services to the end-client.

We are proposing to set-up a branch office in Faridabad which will specialise in providing Data Support Services to our clients. Your job scope will include the development of software for data management. Track inspection data from Rail Vision vehicle borne systems will be made available to the end customers through a web portal. You will be expected to participate in system design, development and testing. The portal will provide secure access to our clients to review rail track inspection data, generate reports, track vehicles and defects, and plan their maintenance. We will provide appropriate training to the chosen applicant on how to understand our existing desktop software for similar purposes on data validation and report generation, and it is expected that there will be close interaction with our UK office, which will be responsible for providing guidance on such work. The working hours will be between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

We are looking for a graduate with the following background:

i)  Diploma or degree at Bachelors level; ii) Very good communication skills; iii) Good analytical skills; iv) Should be able to work hard and under pressure; v) Good self-discipline and professionalism in work performed

Languages known: Hindi, English compulsory

Computer Skills: ASP.NET, C#, WPF, SQL, Visual Studio 2013 or later

Preference: It is preferred to have candidates from NCR region.

Indicative salary: ranging between Rs. 20000- Rs. 40000 per month
