Job Description
Red Hat's Data Management Services team is looking for an engineering graduate to join us as a Database Administration Intern in Pune. In this role, you will contribute to database administration tasks and the QlikSense support project. You'll be part of a distributed team, working both on your own and in tight collaboration and regular communication with other team members and stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for building their career in database technologies and business intelligence tools.
Primary job responsibilities- Support administrative activities in Oracle, MariaDB, MySql, and MongoDb database environments on Linux Platform.
- Perform database and application-level patching on Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Support administrative tasks on business intelligence tools like Business Objects.
- Contribute to QlikSense tool Installation, support and document the process.
Required skills
- Solid understanding of any Linux platform (RHCSA /RHCT/RHCE is preferred).
- Understanding of database technology (MariaDb/ Mysql/ MongoDb/ Oracle); relevant certifications are preferred
- Knowledge of E-Business suite R12 architecture is a plus
- Knowledge of at least one version control system like GIT is an advantage
- Knowledge of data warehousing functioning is a plus
