IT System Manager(SM)/Finance Management Coordinator(FMC) job recruitment in Department of Panchayats & Rural Development.

Qualification :

Essential: 1stClass MCA OR 1stClass M.Sc. in IT/Computer Science OR 1st Class B.Tech in IT/Computer Science with skills in software design, development documentation and implementation support.

Desirable:

I. Post Qualification experience for two years on the job will be preferred.

II. Proficiency in Hardware & Networking.

Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 32,000/- (consolidated), initially for 1stYear. It will be enhanced on satisfactory service.

Age: Minimum 21 years completed and not exceeding 40 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

Finance Management Coordinator(FMC)

Qualification :

Essential : Master Degree in Commerce(M.Com)with at least 55%marks.

Desirable:

a) Post Qualification experience for two years on similar job will be preferred.

b)Experience in Tally.

Monthly Remuneration : Rs.25000/-

Age: Minimum 21 years completed and not exceeding 40 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

State Training Coordinator (STC)/1(Unreserved)

Qualification :

Essential : Master Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks.Knowledge of MS-Office(Word,Excel,PowerPoint)

Desirable : Sound work experience in development sector

2) Two years post qualification work experience on development project at State and /or District level.

Monthly Remuneration : Rs.25000/-

Age : Minimum 21 years completed and not exceeding 40 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

Assistant (Programme Implementation)/1(Unreserved)

Qualification :

Essential: 

1. Graduate from any recognized University

2. Knowledge in English Stenography - 80 words per minute

3. Efficiency in English typing using computer - 40 words per minute

Desirable :

1. knowledge in Bengali Stenography

2. Efficiency in Bengali typing using computer

3. Two years working experience in Government/ Private/ Corporate sector on the job.

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 15,500/- (consolidated).

Qualification :

Essential: B.Com Hounours with at least 55% marks. Knowledge of MS- Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Selection Process : 

1. The Selection Committee will decide the date and venue of the Written Test. Written test for various posts may be held simultaneously.

2. The recruitment process for different posts is as follows -

a) IT System Manager (SM) -Total marks for recruitment process will be 100 (Written Test - 70 marks and Interview - 30 marks).

The Syllabus for the written test may be as following –

i. Computer Knowledge – 40

 ii. English – 10

 iii.Mathematics - 10

iv. General Knowledge - 10

b) Financial Management Coordinator (FMC) 

Total marks for recruitment process will be 100 (Written Test - 70 marks and Interview - 30 marks).

The Syllabus for the written test may be as following –

i. Accountancy – 40

 ii. English - 10

iii. Mathematics - 10

iv. General Knowledge - 10

c) State Training Coordinator (STC) 

Total marks for recruitment process will be 100 (Written Test - 50 marks, Computer Test - 20 marks and Interview - 30 marks).

The Syllabus for the written test may be as following –

i. Issues related to Rural Development with special emphasis on Rural Housing (PMAY-G) - 20

ii. English - 10

iii. Bengali - 10

iv. General Knowledge -10

d) Assistant (Programme Implementation)

Total marks for recruitment process will be 100 (Written Test - 40 marks, Computer Typing and Stenography Test - 30 marks and Interview - 30 marks).

The Syllabus for the written test may be as following –

i. English - 20

ii. Bengali - 10

iii. General Knowledge - 10

Assistant (Fund Management)

Total marks for recruitment process will be 100 (Written Test - 60 marks, Computer Test - 20 marks and Interview - 20 marks).

The Syllabus for the written test may be as following –

i. English - 20

II. Bengali - 10

iii. Mathematics/ Accounting – 20

 iv. General Knowledge – 10

3. Based on Written Test, selection committee will decide on number of candidates to be called for Interview.

4. Shortlisted candidates for Interview, Computer Test and Stenography test will be Informed via email, only.

5. According to the total marks obtained (in written test, computer test, typing test and Interview), a panel of candidates will be made and published accordingly in the Department's website as well as in the Notice board of the Department.

6. The selected candidates will have to execute a contract with WBSRDA.

Panchayats & Rural Development Department of the Government of West Bengal is entrusted with the responsibility of constitution and framing policy related to functioning of the rural local self-government, ie, the Panchayats, providing administrative support to the three tier panchayat system as well as implementation of various rural development programmes including the major poverty alleviation programmes in the rural areas of the State. The Department also organizes community action for participatory planning and development through the elected Panchayat bodies at different levels. As per 2001 census, the population of rural West Bengal is 577.34 lakhs out of a total state population of 802.21 lakhs with density of population 904 per Sq Km, which is more than three times the national average of 273 per Sq Km. The State has 18 districts, which are further divided in to 341 Development Blocks. Administration of the Block Development Offices is also one of the responsibilities of the department.
