No. of Posts : 2 (One for Care taker, Male, Unreserved) and
(One for Mess Steward, Male, OBC)
Qualification : A
Senior Secondary School Certificate (+2) or its equivalent qualification from a
recognized Board /University/ Institution with at least 50% marks or a Graduate
from a recognized University, Having a
typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through
computers.
Desirable
Qualification for Care taker : Degree/Diploma
in Computer Application/Science and Knowledge of operation of latest packages
relating to Pay roll, Accounts, MIS etc. Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial. M
Trade Certificate in Electrical/Civil/Plumbing or any other trade certificate
useful for the post. At least 3 years
experience in the field (as a Caretaker), preferably in a Government
Department/ Hostel, Organization or Commercial Establishment of repute.
Proficiency in spoken English and familiarity with foreign Students. The incumbent is expected to work under the
close supervision of Section Officer or Provost/ Warden/R T and also expected
to provide support services in one or more functions related to General
Administration/House Keeping/Security/Establishment/Purchase/Public Relations
Desirable Qualification
for Mess Steward : Dire/Diploma in
hotel management/food catering form a recognized University/Institution/ Board.
Certificate in food catering form a recognized University/Institution/Board
with minimum two years working experience in a hostel mess (preferably
students' mess) of a Govt. College/University/Institution/Organization. Proficiency in spoken English, familiarity
with foreign Students. The incumbent is expected to work under the close
supervision of Provost/Warden/R.T./ Mess Committee and also expected to provide
support services in one or more functions related to hostel mess General
Administration/House /Ceeping/Purcluse/ Public Relations etc.
Salary : Consolidated salary of Rs. 18960/- per month
Age Limit : 27 years (Relaxation of age as per University of Delhi rules)
