Job Description
JK Bank invites applications for the position of Internal Ombudsman
1. Position: Internal Ombudsman
2. Eligibility:
a) Graduate in any discipline.
b) The applicant should either be a retired or serving officer not below the rank of Deputy General Manager or the equivalent of any Scheduled Commercial Bank / Financial sector regulatory body.
c) The applicant should not have worked/be working in any capacity in JKBANK.-
d) The applicant, if not a serving officer, should have superannuated or have taken voluntary retirement at not less than the rank of Deputy General Manager of Scheduled Commercial Bank other than in JKBANK
3. Work Experience: The applicant should possess the necessary skill and experience of a minimum of seven (07) years of working in areas such as Banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems, and/ or consumer protection.
4. Placement: The selected applicant will be based at Corporate Head Quarters M.A Road Srinagar or at any place as per the requirement of the Bank
5. Remuneration & other Facilities: Negotiable
6. Period of Contract: The engagement will be purely contractual in nature for a fixed term of three (3) years. The IO shall not be eligible for re-engagement in the Bank The appointment on the contract is for a fixed period as stated above, and as such should not be construed as an offer of employment or regular employment in the Bank.
