Essential Skills :
- BS MS
degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Overall
experience in the range of 3 to 5 years
- Proven
working experience in Java development
- Hands on
experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
(both web programming and server side development)
- Object
Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Profound
insight of Java and JEE internals
- Working
knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience
in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot specifically
- Unit
Testing tools experience such as on Junit for Java, Chai or Mocha libraries for
Javascript

Development experience on Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools such
as IntelliJ, Eclipse
- Some experience
in mobile app development
Desirable Skills :
- Experience
as a Sun Certified Java Developer
- Working
experience in Insurance Industry and ACORD standards
- Blockchain
or DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) platforms - Ethereum, R3 Corda,
Hyperledger Fabric or Quorum
- Some
knowledge or experience of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- NoSQL
document based databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB.
- Continuous
Integration Platform skills such as Teamcity, Jenkins
- Knowledge
of build tools such as Ant, Maven or Gradle
