Job Description
1. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
2. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
4. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 10th Sep'20 and 15th Oct'20
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
2. Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
3. Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
4. Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
5. Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Play and Spark
6. Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks {{such as Swing, SWT, and AWT depending on project requirements}}
7. A knack for writing clean, readable Java code
8. Experience with both external and embedded databases
9. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
10. Basic understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java
11. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
12. Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
13. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
15. Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
16. Familiarity with continuous integration
