• MySQL + JDBC
2. Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
3. Translating software requirements into a stable, working project
4. Ensuring that the Java libraries and programs are well documented, and have a reasonable test coverage
5. Coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure; a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential
6. Focusing on using Java libraries and programs that are scalable, and maintainable
