Job Description
Applications are invited for a post of Technical-cum-lab Assistant in a DBT-funded Project entitled: "DBT Network Programme on Anthrax Diagnosis and Control in India (Reference Number: BT/PR36327/ADV/90/280/2020)'' at School of Biotechnology, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the satisfactory performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.

3. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Candidate must have Bachelor degree in Science with minimum of three year experience of working is a plant molecular biology laboratory as well as dealing with the paperwork related to the project.
4. Desirable: Basic knowledge of working in the plants tissue culture laboratory, experience of growing plants in greenhouse as well as in field conditions and basic computational skills would be a plus.
5. Salary: Consolidated Rs. 16,000 per month.
6. Appointment will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on qualifications/experience depending on the number of applications received. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the interview date and time.
