Qualification : 1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of the GP for which he/she applies. 2. He/She should be a graduate (+3) Pass from a recognized autonomous College or University in India. 3. The applicant must have passed Odia examination in HSC examination.
Remuneration : Rs.5000/-
Age : He/She should be of age between 21 to 35 years on the date of application.
Selection Procedure: The selection will be based on the career marking with weight-age for matriculation being 30%, for 12th or +2 being 30% & for +3 being 40%. A Committee under the Chairmanship of Block Development Officer with Inspector of Supplies as convener and Sarapanch of the concerned GP as member will do the selection & provide a panel of 3 names to the Collector for approval. Upon approval by the Collector the panel of names will be provided to the concerned OP for appointment of the 1st person (scoring highest marks) as 'Supply Assistant'. If no graduate is available, then re-advertisement shall be made for selecting from amongst. +2 pass applicants of the concerned OP.
Fees payable : Applicants have to pay Rs 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in cash towards the processing charges at the time of purchase of application form from the concerned C.P. Office. The original money receipt must be attached with the application form at the time of submission.

Gajapati District has been named after Maharaja Sri Krushna Chandra Gajapati Narayan Deo, the Ex–Raja Sahib of Paralakhemundi estate (the 1st Prime Minister of Odisha State), who is remembered for his contribution in formation of a separate Odisha province and inclusion of Paralakhemundi estate in Odisha. It got a District status on 2nd October 1992 after bifurcated from Ganjam District. It was Parlakhemundi sub-division in Ganjam and yet it is only sub-division in Gajapati. There are 7 Tahasils, 7 Blocks, 1,533 Villages, 129 Gram Panchayats and 11 Police stations.
