Job Description
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- Ability to work well with others, as well as independently.
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a small business environment
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems like Linux and Windows platform..
- Monitor the critical systems daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
- Monitor and verify backups of data.
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes.
- Review application logs.
- Install and test computer-related equipment.
- Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, and Internet and intranet systems.
- Install and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor network to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Basic experience in setting up and administering network equipment including firewalls, VPN, routers and switches is an added advantage.
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
- Determine network and system requirements.
- Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
- Good exposure on DHCP, DNS, FTP and SSH
- Coordinating with Vendor and follow up for hardware peripherals.
- Inventory and Asset management
