Jr. Technical Superintendent/Students Counsellor recruitment in Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. on temporary basis
2. Jr. Technical Superintendent/ 01 Post
Department of Humanities and Social Sciences / 1 post ( UR)
Minimum Qualification and Experience : B.Tech /BE/ MSc/MCA or BSc with 2 years’ experience or Diploma in Engineering with 3 years’ experience. (NB : Qualification and experience should be relevant to the post). At least 1 years’ experience in i) System cum network administration, and ii) Web page development and designing.
Desired experience : At least one year’s experience in content management system, PC hardware maintenance, network experience and office automation.
Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800
Age: Below 30 years.
4. Students’ Counsellor /02 Posts (1 SC; 1 OBC)
Minimum Qualification : Post Graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline from accredited and recognized Institutions with specializations in areas of Counselling, Psychotherapy and / or Clinical Psychology.
Desirable : At least 3 years experience as practicing professionals or as in-house counsellors. Experience of similar work in higher educational institutions will be given weightage.
Pay Band : Rs.15600 – 39100
Age : Below 50 years
Application Fee: Candidates will have to make the payment of application fees through the online mode as follows : For Post No. 4 - Rs.500/- (for General/ OBC candidates) and Rs.250/- (for SC/ST/PwD candidates). For Post No. 2 - Rs.300/- (for General/ OBC candidates) and Rs.150/- (for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Internal candidates of IIT Guwahati are requested to apply for NO Objection Certificate & reimbursement of application fee to the Registrar, IIT Guwahati through the concerned HOD/HOS/HOC of the Institute.
