IIT Bombay requires Jr. Trained Graduate Teacher (Social Studies)
Qualification : (1) Bachelors Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks In aggregate and B. Ed a equivalent degree from a recognized university. OR Four years integrated degree course of Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. with the following subjects and languages : Any two amongst History. Geography, Economics and
Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. (2) Proficiency in teaching in English. (3) The applicant should have teaching experience of three years after the qualifying degree. For applicants with master's degree or equivalent, the norms duration of Masters programme would be counted towards experience. Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications.
