Junior Research Fellow (JRF) /04 (Four)
Essential: 1st Class M.Sc. in Botany/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Life Science with NET Qualification or any other National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, ITT, ISSc, IISER etc. OR Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification in above relevant subjects. OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course in above relevant subjects.
Age: Upper age limit 35 years for RA –I and 28 yrs. for JPF as on the 1st day of June, 2020. The age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Women/Physically handicapped and OBC.

About Company
The Government of Mysore had set up a Forest Research Laboratory (FRL) at Bangalore in 1938. In the initial years, work was carried out mainly on properties and uses of different timber species, essential oils, other non-wood forest products and protection of wood and trees from pests and diseases. In 1956, this laboratory was organised as a regional centre of Forest Research Institute and Colleges, Dehra Dun. In 1977, Sandal Research Centre was set up to undertake research on wide-ranging aspects of genetics, silviculture and management of sandal, a valuable tree well distributed all over Southern India.
