JRF position under (Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST) Project
Junior Research Fellow Number of Position(s)/ One
Title of The Project : Metallogenetic Evolution of Gold (+ PGE) Mineralization with implications for crust-mantle processes, invisible gold and role of organic matter linked to mineralization events in parts of Archean Singhbhum orogenic belts
Essential Qualification: Candidates should have first class or equivalent GPA in M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.) in Applied Geology/Geology. Candidates applying for the post should also possess valid NET/GATE qualification certificate.
Desirable Qualification Knowledge on geological mapping, ore petrography, geochemical data interpretation, EPMA data processing and geochemical data plotting software. Age and Relaxation (if any)
The upper age limit is 30 years at the time of appointment (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per GOI rules)
Fellowship Rs. 31,000/- (consolidated) per month + 16% HRA for first 2-years and Rs. 35,000/- (consolidated) per month +16% HRA for 3rd year for SRF on successful completion of 2 Year as JRF
