Job Description
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Mathematics at
BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a SERB-DST sponsored research project titled “Numerical
Approximation of Optimal Control Problems Using Virtual Element Method”
Eligibility: Candidates are expected to have post graduate degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with first class (or at least CGPA 6.5) and a good academic background with sound knowledge in Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis as well as knowledge in mathematical software such as MATLAB/ MATHEMATICA, etc. Preference will be given to the NET/GATE qualified candidate.
Fellowship Amount: Rs. 31,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 35,000/- per month for third year or as applicable based on the SERB Guidelines
