JRF Atmospheric Science recruitment in National Institute of Technology Rourkela
Name of the Research Project : “Advancing prediction skill of rapid intensity changes of tropical cyclones over North Indian Ocean”
Essential Qualifications and experience : First division throughout career in M.Sc. or M.Tech. (Atmospheric Science /Meteorology /Climate Science /Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics / or Equivalent). Candidates with NET or GATE are preferable.
Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Working experience in (i) Atmospheric mesoscale models, (ii) in Unix or Linux environment (ii) software like matlab/GraDS/NCL/ etc.
No. of Post : 01
Fellowship : Rs. 25000/- per month 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28000/- per month in 3rd year. 20% HRA as applicable
