4. Project: “Development of a sustainable process for production of value-added products (high purity cellulose and fibers) from agricultural residues for industrial application” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM, DST)
5. Essential Qualifications: M.Tech in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering OR Masters degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences with NET/GATE/ or any National level examination from CSIR/ UGC/ DBT/DST/ ICAR
6. Desirable: Sound knowledge of organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic molecules, chemical extraction methods and downstream processing
7. Job Profile: Primarily conduct research experiments relevant to the project as assigned by the Principal Investigator, maintain laboratory workbooks, operate bench-scale and pilot-scale reactors, data collection and assisting in compiling report
8. Duration: The position available in the Bio-conversion Technology Division, SPRERI is initially for a period of 1 year, which may be extended till project co-terminates (maximum up to 3 years)
9. Fellowship: 25,000/- + 10% HRA (based on eligibility)
