Job Description

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for the post of Junior research fellow available in Dr. Parul Mishra's laboratory in a project sponsored by Department of Biotechnology. The project will combine protein engineering approaches with a variety of genetic and biochemical assays to delineate the functional effect of defined perturbations on protein networks.

2. Number of positions: 01

3. Fellowship: Rs. 15,000 per month

4. HRA, if applicable: Nil

5. Tenure of the post: Initial appointment for 1 year, but can extended

6. Essential qualifications: Candidates should have M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree (with minimum 60% marks or equivalent) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics.

7. Desirable qualifications/Experience: Prior experience of working in laboratory setting performing Molecular Biology and/or Genetics experiments is desirable. Students having prior lab experience are encouraged to apply.
