Job Description
Applications are invited on the prescribed form for the one position of Junior Research fellow @ Rs. 25000/- pm+ 20% HRA per month for Ist and IInd year and Rs. 28,000/- + HRA per month for the IIIrd year in the sanctioned scheme as, “Reducing acrylamide forming potential of wheat using natural and genome editing induced genetic variation at TaASN2 locus. CSS-83 (PC-6223)”. The application should be supported by the attested copies of certificates.
The forms can be obtained on the working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. from the office of the undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of Bank Draft in favor of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. The term of fellow shall be a period of six months initially or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier. Stipend and other emoluments will be as per SERB (DST) Rules.
Qualifications: B.Sc with minimum OCPA of OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks
M.Sc in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Molecular Biology/Molecular Genetics with atleast OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks with NET/ NET-LS/GATE cleared
Note-I The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note-II Desirable Qualification:
PhD. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Molecular Biology/Molecular Genetics
* If the candidate with NET/NET-LS/GATE is not available, then the post will be filled at a lower scale of Rs.12,000/- + 20% HRA
