Applications are invited on the prescribed form alongwith the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. alongwith attested copies of certificates for One position of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- per month + 16 % HRA in the Project “Mitochondrial genome assembly, analysis and development of molecular markers for cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) gene in tropical onion” CSS-107 (PC-6314) for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

For the position of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31,000/-pm +16% HRA.

Qualification: B.Sc/ B.Tech (Biotech/Bioinformatics) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks. M.Sc/ M.Tech in Genomics/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ System Biology with at least an OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Note-I: The candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: The candidate must have passed NET/GATE exam or Any National level examination conducted by Central Government, Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER etc.
