JRF Biotechnology Job Opportunity In Punjab Agricultural University on Contract Basis
Project: “Molecular mapping and transfer of yellow vein mosaic virus resistance in okra [Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench]”
Qualification: B.Sc. (Agri.) B.Sc. Biotechnology/ Medical with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks. M.Sc. in Vegetable Science/ Biotechnology /Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Plant Sciences with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidate having experience in vegetable breeding/ Molecular breeding.
Fellowship: Fixed salary of Rs. 25000/- +HRA for an initial period of six months from the date on which the incumbent joins or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
Application Fee: Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Note: The candidate, who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post. Candidates with B.Sc. Biotechnology/Medical three year programme will be considered only if NET/NET-LS/GATE cleared.
