Job Description
JRF Botany job recruitment in Central Sericultural Research & Training Institute.
Duration of the project : 3 years till 14th May 2021 (JRF for initial two years and later upgradable to SRF based on the performance of the candidate). The selected person has to work at both the collaborative institutes CSR&TI, Berhampore and University of North Bengal, Siliguri.
Qualifications : M.Sc. Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Sericulture/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry or equvivalent with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
Desirable Qualifications : Working knowledge in Protein purification, biochemical analysis and culturing of microorganisms.
Selection Procedure: Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
Title of the project : Molecular characterisation and assessment of the efficacy of low molecular weight peptides isolated from mulberry leaf against flacherie disease of silkworm (in collaboration with University of North Bengal, Siliguri, West Bengal).
