Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project entitled 'Delineation and characterization of defense signalling pathways and genetic regulation of induced systemic resistance in Zingiber-Pythium pathosystems' under the supervision of Dr. George Thomas at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Botany/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics with 60% marks.
Valid JRF or valid score in national level examination for admission to PhD program (including Lectureship) such as CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE or the examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, IISER, IISc etc.,
AGE:Below 28 years as on September 01, 2020. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
FELLOWSHIP:Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA per month.
DURATION:One year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.
