Application are invited for the following purely temporary positions for D.B.T., New Delhi funded research project at Central Tasar Research & Training Institute, Central Silk Board (CSB), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Nagri, Ranchi — 835303 (Jharkhand). The entitled projects is hereunder:-
"Mass Level extraction of sericin from tasar cocoon cooking waste for its prospective utilization" (DBT San. No. BT/PR32788/TDS/121/50/2020.

3. Qualification:
(i) M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences or allied subjects, OR
(ii) B.Tech or M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Chemical engineering or related field. Minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA in preceding degree.
4. Desirable: Prior experience in membrane technology, separation and purification techniques, removal of toxic metals from industrial effluents, and various analytical tools such as SEM, UV spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, BOD & COD analyzer, TGA, DSC, XRD, etc. will be given preference.
5. Fellowship:
(i) Rs 31000/- (for first & second years), 35,000/- (for 3rd Year) + HRA (as applicable) to Scholar who selected through
(a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (with valid GATE Score) (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, 11T, MSc, 11SER etc.
(ii) Rs 25000/-(for first 2 years), Rs.28000/- (for 3rd Year) + HRA (as applicable) for others who do not fall under (i) above Note: HRA will be a , if Hostel Accommodation will not be rovided.
6. Duration: Three Years upto 07.03.2024
Age Limit:
Upto 28 years as on the last date of application for the General & EWS category.
