Project Title  :  “Sustainable metal-catalyzed oxidative tandem reactions: exploring novel approaches for synthesis of biologically relevant nitrogen-containing heterocycles”

Department :  Chemistry

Eligibility :  a) Candidate must possessing M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE. b) The candidate with background and inclination towards Organic Chemistry in M.Sc. will be preferred.

Stipend :  JRF (1 st & 2nd year): Rs.12,000/- pm plus House rent allowance (HRA) and Medical allowance (MA) as per CSIR norms. SRF: Rs.14,000/- pm plus House rent allowance and Medical allowance as per CSIR norms.

Age Limit  :  The upper age limit for applying to the post of JRF shall be 28 years as on the last date of application. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.

Nature of Work :  Synthesis, purification and characterization of organic compounds having biological properties.
