Job Description
Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for Junior Research Fellow position as per the details given below for the STARS project under the supervision of Prof. R. Pandey and Prof. K. R. Justin Thomas, Department of Chemistry. Indian Institute of Technology. Roorkee.
Qualifications: M.Sc. in chemistry with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.00 on a ID- point scale or 60% marks for General (UR) category. For SC/ST or PwD candidates the minimum CGPA requirements may be relaxed to 5.50 on a 10-point scale or to 55% marks. In addition, NET (UGC Or CSIR JRF) or GATE qualification. Other eligibility conditions for Ph.D. admission to IIT Roorkee is also required.
Emoluments: Rs. 31.000/- pm.

Title Of Project: Probing The Molecular Orientation And Charge Transfer Dynamics At Interfaces For The Design And Fabrication Of More Efficient Optoelectronics Devices.
Duration: up to May 27, 2023 .
Job description: To design and synthesize organic semiconductors suitable for application in optoelectronic devices. The incumbent should have interest in the photophysical characterization of organic semiconductors and fabrication of electronic devices. The candidate wilt also be involved in the nonlinear optical measurements in such devices.
