JRF Chemistry recruitment in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya
Project entitled "Assessment of climate change impact on soils and various water basins of Meghalaya using existing and newer techniques"
No. of position available: 1
Eligibility: 1. M.Sc. in Chemistry (where specialization is not offered by the institute/ organization/ university) / Organic Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry.
2. Preference may be given to NET/Gate qualified candidates.
Age limit: Must not be more than 28 years as on December 01, 2019 (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).
Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA 10% for first two years and thereafter Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA 10%.
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable upto 3 years solely based on the performance. The starting date of the project will be announced as per the availability of the fund.
The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three (03) years. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the Ph.D. program of NIT Meghalaya as per the eligibility criteria.
