JRF Computer Science job Position in Defence Research & Development Organisation - Snow & Avalanche Study Establishment

Essential Qualification: BE / B Tech in first division with NET/GATE in the field of Computer Science /Engineering OR ME /M.Tech in first division (both at graduate and post graduate level) in the fields of Computer Science/Engineering Desirable: (i) Experience in working in Web GIS application development.

Essential Qualification:  Post graduate Science degree in first division with NET/GATE in the fields of Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geo informatics/Computer Science. OR ME or M.Tech in first division (both at graduate and post graduate level) in the fields of Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geo informatics/ Computer Science Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Remote Sensing & GIS software, e.g. ERDAS, ArcGIS, ENVI, QGIS etc (ii) Knowledge of programming in R, METLAB, Python. (iii) Knowledge of Web Designing i.e. Postgre SQL, PHP etc. (iv) Experience of field work, preferable in glaciers.

OR BE / B Tech in first division with NET/GATE in the field of Mechanical Engg. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of CFD and meshing softwares like Hyper mesh, ANSYS Fluent etc. (ii) Good programming skills in C/MATLAB. (iii) Experience in handling measuring instruments/equipments for field experiments. (iv) Having working experience in R&D Sector with scientific publications
