JRF Computer Science recruitment in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur
Project on: “Design and Implementation of a Comparison-Free Scalable High-Throughput Energy-Efficient Hardware Sorting Engine for FPGA-Based Embedded System Applications”

Essential Qualification: First class B.E / B.Tech. or M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer
Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics Engineering with
valid GATE score.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in Computer Organization and Architecture, Hardware designs using HDL and / or experience in FPGA based tools.
No of post :1 (JRF may be extended to SRF based on performance in the project)
Fellowship: Rs. 18,700/- per month for 1st year and 2nd year, Rs. 21,000/- per month for 3rd year (subject to the performance in the project)
Duration: Three years. (Initially for 1 year but may be extended for 2 more years subject to condition of the performance of the candidate.)
Note: The candidate may pursue Ph.D. programme on this topic (subject to satisfactory performance).
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years, (Upper age limit is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/ OBC/Woman and Physically handicapped candidates).
