Advertisement Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Under the ICPS-Data Science Research Initiative Programme of Department of Science and Technology (DST-Govt. of India) in the Network Reconstruction and Analysis (NETRA)-Lab, Department of Computer Applications, Sikkim (Central University).
Title of the project : Large Scale Biological Network Reconstruction and Analysis for Identifying Therapeutic Targets for Alzheimer’s Disease: A Big Data Initiative
Position Available : Junior Research Fellow (JRF - CSE)]-One (01) Nos. (to be linked with PhD program)
Stipend : Fellowship: As per DST-India guidelines Rs.25,000/- per month for two years and Rs. 28,000/- for the third year. 10% HRA extra as per rule.
Qualification : M.Tech. in IT/CSE, M.Sc (CSE/IT) or MCA. (regular courses only) from any recognized institute with good academic records, sound mathematical knowledge and programming knowledge in the environment like R, Python, PHP, java scripts etc.
Tenure of Appointment : Initially for six (06) months and extendible up to the tenure of the project based on the performance.

having experience of below mentioned preferred skill

Preference: i. Proven experience in Data mining/Machine Learning/similar areas related to the project theme in the form of Research Papers. ii. Hands-on knowledge in CUDA, PyCUDA, NUMBA or gpuR for implementing parallel methods. iii. Programming experience in High Performance Computing environment.
