Eligibility for the JRF (one post)in “3D image processing” :
M.Tech./M.E in IT/CSE with minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidate must be familiar with the 3D medical image processing and proficient in mathematical modelling and programing. Candidates having research publications in the mentioned domain will be preferred.
Eligibility for the JRF (one post) in “Microwave Tomography for Medical applications” :
M.Tech./M.E in RPE/ECE with minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidate must be familiar with the electromagnetic modelling. Knowledge in designing of miniaturised medical antennas will be an added advantage. Candidates having research publications in the mentioned domain will be preferred.

M.Tech./M.E in EE/IE/RPE/ECE/IT/CSE or in related discipline with minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidate must be familiar with the medical data analysis and image processing and proficient in mathematical modelling and programming. Candidates having research publications in the mentioned domain will be preferred.
Fellowship: As per rules of UGC UPE II.

About Company
The University of Calcutta was
established by an Act of the Legislative Council (Act No II of 1857) of
the then British India. A supplementary Act empowering the University
to confer some additional degrees was passed in 1860. Another Act was
passed in 1884 by which the University was authorised to confer honorary
Degree of Law.The University Act of 1904 empowered the University to
make necessary arrangements for the instruction of students, and though
most of the teaching continued to be imparted in the affiliated
colleges, teaching in some of the higher branches began to be organised
under the University management.The Calcutta University Act, 1951, which
came into operation from March, 1954 brought about important changes in
the constitution and character of the University. The Act provided for
Postgraduate teaching in some of the affiliated colleges along with the
University Colleges.
