Job Description
Post of Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for one post of Junior Research Fellow (01) in the research project “DST-19: Engineering Intervention for mechanization of Mozzarella cheese manufacture at cottage scale”. The post is purely temporary for six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The term of fellowship may be extended for further period provided that the performance of the candidate is found satisfactory. The required qualifications are here under:
A. Essential: B. Tech/B. Engineering degree in Dairy Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/ Agricultural Engineering with at least second division from a recognized university.
M. Tech/M. Engineering degree in Dairy Engineering/ Food Engineering and Technology/ Processing and Food Engineering/ Food Engineering/ Food Process Engineering with minimum OCPA 6.5/10 or 65 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent.
Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) and National level examination* conducted by any of central government departments and their agencies and institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, CSIR-UGC, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.)
B. Desirable: Preference will be given to a candidate having working experience on related areas and candidate should have willing to go outside during fabrication and trials of the prototype.
Note: Knowledge of Punjabi upto matric level is desirable. The condition of knowledge in Punjabi is however relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.
Rs. 31,000.00 + 16% HRA per month (for first 2 years) and Rs. 35,000.00 + 16% HRA per month (for third year).
Age: 35 years (as on date of application) which is relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/ women candidates.
