3. Position title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

6. Essential qualification: B.E./B.Tech/ or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering & M.E./M.Tech/ or equivalent degree in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives and related specializations with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA greater than 6.5/10) in UG & PG to qualify under OC/OBC category and minimum 55% aggregate marks (CGPA greater than 6.0) for candidates under SC/ST/PWD category. Note: GATE score is mandatory.
7. Desired qualifications: Prior knowledge of Power Electronic Converters, Switched Reluctance Motor and Hybrid Electric Vehicles.
8. Desirable: Expertise in MATLAB, ANSYS MAXWELL Software Simulations, experience in development of Power Electronics hardware , experience in FPGA, DSP coding and Project management .
9. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- pm for the first 2 years and 35,000/- pm for the third year
10. HRA/ Accommodation: No
11. Other benefits: The selected candidates are eligible to register for PhD degree at NIT, Srinagar as per institute rules.
